It can be difficult attending counselling so all enquiries are treated in confidence and with sensitivity.
Appointment times:
9.00 am to 8.00 pm Monday - Friday
Please enquire regarding weekend appointment availability.
Sessions are usually booked on a weekly or fortnightly basis to begin with but are ultimately arranged at the client and counsellor's discretion.
Sessions take place at the Bilston clinic. Please request a ground floor room prior to booking an appointment if required. In certain circumstances, home sessions may be applicable but will incur a further £10 charge per session.

Adults: £40 per 50 minute session
Young people, low waged and counselling trainees: Concessions are available on a case by case basis - please enquire
Couples: £55 per 90 minute session
Please Note: 24 hours prior notice must be given when cancelling an appointment or the deposit will be taken as the fee.
Payment is requested by cash on the day, with the first two sessions paid on the first day as part of the non-refundable deposit.
Confidentiality
Client confidentiality is taken extremely seriously and issues discussed in a counselling sessions remain private to the client and the counsellor. In general the only time confidentiality is broken is when clients disclose that they may harm themselves or others, or it is a legal requirement, and therefore an accepted reason to break confidentiality by most counsellors who follow an ethical framework.
An assessment is part of the first session attended:
This initially involves filling in some paperwork and an associated discussion & will normally last around 30 minutes (please allow a little extra time then for your first appointment as the assessment does not form part of the 50 minute session). You will also be able to:

- understand further how counselling works, which will help you to decide which approach is right for you
- share aspects of the issue(s) affecting you, and begin the counselling process
- allow the counsellor an opportunity to learn something of your personal history
- decide whether you and your counsellor would like to work together
